Düsseldorf/Darmstadt, December 3, 2025 – The eighth AUDI Charging Hub in Germany opened last week on the EUREF Campus in Düsseldorf. Conveniently located near the airport, the new charging hub boasts barrier-free access and a sustainable energy concept. Reservation management within the myAudi app and the physical reserving of charging stations with smart parking barriers are handled by Book-n-Park.
The new Charging Hub Düsseldorf is technically designed to meet the demands of modern mobility: Charging speeds of up to 400 kW are available! The sophisticated swivel arm concept also ensures accessibility at the EUREF-Düsseldorf location: Even users with reduced mobility can charge their electric vehicles without obstacles. You can read more about this here (external link).
Recycled batteries from dismantled development vehicles serve as energy storage for the new charging hub. This not only saves costs and resources, but also ensures sustainable use without additional infrastructure: This battery storage solution enables fast charging without requiring any upgrades to the local power grid!
Audi customers can enjoy the familiar premium service at the Düsseldorf Charging Hub: They can conveniently book their desired charging time slot via the MyAudi app with integrated Book-n-Park. Shortly before the scheduled charging time, one of our smart parking barriers locks the corresponding charging space. After the Audi customer arrives and their license plate has been scanned, the parking barrier automatically releases the charging space – making fast charging convenient for Audi customers!
