Darmstadt, October 16, 2024 – As part of its growth strategy, Green Mobility Solutions GmbH has found a new investment partner to further advance the mobility of the future. Walden Holding GmbH is investing in the Darmstadt-based company, which specializes in digital parking and access management. Together, the two companies will combine their expertise and resources to develop and disseminate sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility solutions.
Green Mobility Solutions (GMS) offers smart solutions for parking and access management with its all-in-one platform, Book-n-Park. In addition to the efficient use of parking spaces, the system enables the integration of various components such as doors, barriers, and bicycle boxes, which can be digitally controlled and managed. GMS's solar-powered parking barriers also contribute to making mobility more environmentally friendly. "The partnership with Jörg Walden and his company is another milestone for us," says Michael Schaab, Managing Director of Green Mobility Solutions GmbH. "For Jörg Walden, the mobility revolution and the sustainable, efficient use of existing resources are extremely important. Therefore, we are delighted to have a partner at our side who shares our values and vision. With the support of Walden Holding, we can further expand our offerings and respond to growing demand."
Book-n-Park is already being used successfully in various industries. Its customers include well-known companies such as Condor, Best Western, Audi, Telekom, and the Technical University of Darmstadt. Book-n-Park offers several advantages, particularly in the field of electromobility and in the municipal sector, for example, for bicycle parking facilities within Bike+Ride programs or expanded mobility hubs.
“With our many years of experience in the field of GreenTech and sustainable business, we are contributing not only capital, but also strategic support and technological expertise to the partnership,” says Jörg Walden, Managing Director of Walden Holding GmbH. “Green Mobility Solutions and Walden Holding share the conviction that the mobility transition can only succeed through the intelligent use of existing resources. Together, we want to actively shape the future of mobility.”
