Darmstadt, May 31, 2023 - With the universal digital access system "Book-n-Park" from Green Mobility Solutions (GMS), parking spaces, charging infrastructure, bicycle garages and many other accesses can be managed, kept free, reserved and shared. In Germany, the "Open Sesame" on the smartphone is already being used successfully in many places. On June 21 and 22, 2023, GMS will present the innovation for the first time at the municipal fair in Innsbruck. At stand B131, visitors can find out more about smart parking space management and try out the solution live.
One click on the Book-n-Park web app and access is free: Whether automatic parking barriers, barriers or gates - the developers and suppliers of the digital parking control system Book-n-Park have a whole range of high-quality barrier components in their range. Keys, cards or chips become superfluous. The temporary rental and billing of access is also optionally possible with an integrated pay function.
Different providers of modern infrastructure rely on the flexibility of Book-n-Park: companies, hotels, clubs, housing associations and also private users.
For municipalities in particular, modern parking and access options can be implemented with the “Open Sesame” on the smartphone, for example to bicycle garages and lockers.
Parking spaces and e-charging stations can also be conveniently reserved and kept free with Book-n-Park. The technology is already being used successfully in district parking in major cities such as Berlin, Hamburg and Malaga. Audi is also using Book-n-Park in combination with Book-n-Park parking brackets when expanding its charging hubs. The automobile manufacturer has integrated the application into its myAudi app. In June, Audi opens the first charging hub in Salzburg.
A new feature in the program is self-sufficient closing of locks in non-electrified locations. Whether on club grounds, on the campsite or in parks: wherever no cables can be laid, gates and doors can be reliably controlled thanks to battery, solar and digital technology.
“The smart Book-n-Park parking brackets are battery-operated and allow charging intervals of several years.
Thanks to the integrated solar module, they usually run independently outdoors," says Mathias Hornjak, developer and managing director of Green Mobility Solutions GmbH. "The installation is easy, neither a foundation nor cables are required," says Michael Schaab, co-managing director of Green Mobility Solutions GmbH. Book-n-Park supplies its proven control and hardware such as digital parking barriers, barriers, bicycle garages and lockers from a single source. Existing infrastructure can also be retrofitted.
In Austria, the "Book-n-Park" technology will be offered in the future in the associated sales office in Vienna. Here, Michael Manthey is in charge of consulting and sales.
