Our review of the Kommunale 25 trade fair in Nuremberg

Darmstadt/Nuremberg, October 27, 2025 – Last week, municipal decision-makers, experts, and government representatives from across Germany met at the Nuremberg exhibition halls – Kommunale 25, the leading trade fair, was once again a resounding success! Green Mobility Solutions was represented as an exhibitor with Book-n-Park and presented its solutions for universal access control and smart parking space management at its own booth – together with the interface specialists from Open Anytime and the stylish PISTE-KISTE bicycle garage from mauser . Together with our co-exhibitors, we were able to present an entire "ecosystem" from parking spaces and Bike+Ride to assembly rooms and mayor's office – cost-effective, all-in-one management helps every municipality!

Digitalization as a focus - a tour of the trade fair

Walking through the three packed exhibition halls at KOM25, one was struck by a surprising impression for those unfamiliar with the industry: In keeping with its importance, digitalization also occupied a significant space in the exhibition booths. It seemed as though more than half of all exhibitors were dealing with digital topics – and not just topics like certification and administration. The Internet of Things was also high on the list – reflecting an increasingly digitalized world, municipalities are striving to provide cutting-edge solutions for all citizens!

Artificial intelligence, your friend and helper

The use of AI has become commonplace, and this was also reflected at the KOM25 trade fair: At the exhibitor booths, numerous implemented applications and AI-based government solutions attracted attention. We were particularly interested in the digital AI assistant Emma, which was specifically designed to assist civil servants and take work off their hands – the digital city hall of the future is taking shape!

Sustainability and emotions - tangible solutions for municipalities

Of course, KOM25 also featured a wide range of municipal supplies, not exclusively digital: From Christmas trees for the market square to town hall lighting and raffle accessories to exciting approaches to sustainable urban greening. Our favorite: the Wichtelwagen (Witch Wagon), a cute mobile kindergarten based on a railway carriage!
